Ann L. Leskinen

ANN LOUISE LESKINEN was born on June 27, 1955 to William and Doreen (Blom) Riley in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She grew up in Richfield, Minnesota and graduated from high school. Ann continued her education and began working as a hairdresser. While working at a beauty salon, Ann met Larry Leskinen. The two worked alongside each other and on January 9, 1981, the couple was united in marriage. Together they made the decision to change occupations and then drove truck cross country for many years. They eventually moved into Ann’s grandparent’s house in Ellsworth, Minnesota. Ann then went to work as a CNA at Parkview Manor in Ellsworth from February 1999 until September 2022. She also worked at Walmart from August 2009 until December 2015. Ann worked hard throughout her whole life. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and working in her yard. Larry preceded her in death on May 13, 2017. On Tuesday, October 11, 2022 while at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Ann went to be with her Lord at the age of 67 years, three months and 14 days.

Ann is survived by her niece, Karen (Paul) Denslow Luger; and was a very special part of the Farrell/Boltjes family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; parents, William and Doreen Riley; sister, Mary Allen; and parents-in-law, Arnie and Sheila Leskinen.
