Annette Kay Fehrman was born January 29, 1935 to Aksel and Emma (Nelson) Enga in Minneota, Minnesota. She was baptized in Minneota and attended school there, graduating from Minneota High School in 1953. On January 16, 1954 Annette married Wayne Fehrman at Hope Lutheran Church in Minneota. Their union was blessed with two children, Pamela and Paula, and 62 years of life together. The couple made their home and farmed in Ash Lake Township, north of Lake Benton, Minnesota. They moved into Lake Benton in 1992. Annette had a stroke on January 26, 2012 and entered Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Tyler, Minnesota. It is there that she died on Monday, May 30, 2016 at the age of 81.
Annette was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she served in the Ladies Aid, Circle, and quilting group, and sang in the choir. She was a member of Ash Lake Birthday Club and was active in 4-H. She liked to work crossword puzzles and watch cooking programs. She very much enjoyed her various church activities, raising her family, and spending time with them.
Annette is lovingly remembered by her husband, Wayne of Lake Benton, MN; daughter, Pamela Fehrman of Sioux Falls, SD; grandson, Ian Jacobson; brother, Rodney (Donna) Enga of St. Peter, MN; sister, Mary Westphal of Minneota, MN; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Paula Jacobson; brothers, John and Jim Enga; and sister, Arlene Claeys.
