BONNIE PEARL RALPH was born to Chester and Elsie (Pritchard) Anderson on September 3, 1953 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was raised in Powers Lake, North Dakota and received her early education. In 1968, the family moved from Powers Lake and lived in various places before settling in Lakeview, Michigan. On September 12, 1970 Bonnie married Hugh Edgerly, Jr. The couple resided in Lansing, Michigan where Bonnie was a homemaker to their son. The couple later divorced and Bonnie then went to work at Casanova Italian Restaurant and Bar. Through hard work and saving, Bonnie purchased a home. On May 8, 1980, Bonnie married Jerry Vermeersch in Lansing. The couple was blessed with another son and two daughters. Bonnie and Jerry later divorced and she and the children then moved back to Powers Lake. A short time later they moved to Crosby, North Dakota. In 1989, Bonnie met Douglas Ralph and on March 25, 1994 the couple was wed in their home in Crosby. In 1996, the family moved to Larimore, North Dakota. In 2002 she and Doug moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Due to a battle with cancer, Doug was forced to retire. In 2005, Bonnie went to work doing bookkeeping for Wade’s Drywall, a business owned by her son. In April 2010, Bonnie and Doug moved to Luverne, Minnesota. Doug passed away on August 6, 2010. Bonnie continued to reside in their home until 2014 when she sold their home and moved to Sioux Falls. On Sunday, July 26, 2015 Bonnie passed away at her home at the age of 61 years, 10 months, 26 days.
Bonnie was a wonderful seamstress. She was very talented with craft projects which often became treasured gifts by her family at Christmas. Bonnie enjoyed camping and having bonfires, watching detective shows, playing poker and bingo, baking bars and gardening. She recently became busy doing cross-stitching. Bonnie will be remembered for her deep love to her family and always putting them first in life.
Bonnie is lovingly remembered by her four children, Chad (Audrey) Edgerly of Rugby, North Dakota, Wade (Michelle) Vermeersch of Sioux Falls, Nicole Vermeersch of Emerado, North Dakota, and Jessica Vermeersch of Idaho Falls, Idaho; six siblings, Jeanette (Marvin) Skalicky of Luverne, Michael Anderson of Lansing, Michigan, Mary Wilson of Camden, Ohio, Patty Moyer of Burton, Michigan, Rodger (Diane) Anderson of Phoenix, Arizona, and Jimmy Anderson of Howard City, Michigan; 8 grandchildren (with one more on the way); 4 great-grandchildren (with one more on the way); and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug; and parents, Chester and Elsie Anderson.
