Dan Arp

DANIEL CONRAD ARP was born on December 23, 1955 to Myron and Lois (Matthiesen) Arp in Luverne, Minnesota. He attended both elementary and high school in Edgerton, Minnesota. After high school he worked on a farm near Edgerton and continued to live on the home farm where his family grew up. Later on, he moved to Hardwick, Minnesota where he owned the Dance Place for a couple of years. In 2017 he moved to Luverne and resided there until the current time. He entered the care of the Sanford USD Medical Center and died there on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the age of 63 years, six months, and 23 days.

Dan enjoyed farming and going to many farm sales. He also liked to garden at his home. He knew and was known by many people.

He is survived by his son, Brian Arp; siblings, Curtis (Dee) Arp of Jasper, Minnesota, Michael Arp of Hardwick, Minnesota, Dennis (Deb) Arp of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Lori (Bob) Hellwinckel of Pipestone, Minnesota, and David Arp of Edgerton, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Lois; and one brother, Dean.
