DARYL 'WHISKERS' VOS was born to Walt and Fava (Taylor) Vos on September 6, 1944 in Pipestone, Minnesota. He was raised in Worthington, Minnesota where his parents ran the roller rink. When he was 16 years old, he moved with his family to California. While living there, he met Karen Crawford. On February 16, 1964, they were united in marriage at the Knox Berry Farm Chapel in Beuna Park, California. Following their marriage, they resided in Chico, California where Daryl was employed delivering and setting mobile homes. In 1975, they moved to Holland, Minnesota, and Daryl worked with his father in construction building homes. After his father's death in 1977, Daryl became a truck driver. Later he worked for Carstensen Contracting and Johns Construction until his retirement in 2008. Since then, he has worked occasionally for the Uilks. Daryl suffered a stroke with complications on Saturday, March 5, 2011. On Saturday, April 30, 2011, he died at Karen and Donna's home in Holland at the age of 66 years, seven months and 24 days.
Daryl had a passion for riding his Trike and spending time with his daughter. His garage was where you would find him, humming and playing with something. His attitude about life and his sense of humor gave pleasure to all who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered by his family, Karen, Donna, and Daryl Vos of Holland, Minnesota; and his brother's family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Danny; and many friends and Biker Brothers.
