DAVID AARON TRIGG was born to Ray and Jean (Sandberg) Trigg at Hendricks Community Hospital on September 14, 1978. He was raised on the family farm in rural Verdi, Minnesota and he was the “Verdi Centennial Baby”. David was baptized and confirmed at the Methodist Church in Verdi and attended school in Lake Benton, Minnesota. Prior to his graduation from Lake Benton High School in 1997, David purchased his first farm. After graduating he began working at J.C. Ramsdell’s Enviro Liners and then began his career at 3M Corporation in Brookings, South Dakota. During that time he bought the family farm in Verdi Township, Minnesota. He also purchased a lake home on Lake Benton, where he enjoyed spending many weekends. On Monday, January 14, 2019, David passed away unexpectedly at his farm at the age of 40 years and four months.
David had a passion for cars. He enjoyed attending farm auctions and spending time in his garden. He had a soft spot for animals; his dog and cat were especially important to him. David’s laid-back personality and his almost constant smile will surely be missed by many.
He will be remembered by his mother, Jean Trigg of Lake Benton; siblings, Annette Frappier (David Johnson) of Ward, South Dakota, Allen (Tami) Trigg, Sharlyn (Mike) Tiedeman, and Daryl (Tracy) Trigg all of Lake Benton; and many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his father, Ray Trigg.
