Donovan E. Hollis

Donovan Edward Hollis was born on September 29, 1985 in Grossmont, California. He was raised and spent most of his life in Minnesota. He enjoyed a wide variety of music, reading and an occasional fine cigar. He possessed a creative spirit and enjoyed crafting various creations. If you knew Donovan, you knew of the love he held for his cats and often provided a home for rescues. Beneath his snarky demeanor, beat a profoundly compassionate heart. He deeply loved and was loved by his family.

On Friday, August 18, 2023 Donovan passed away as the result of injuries sustained in an accident near Elkton, South Dakota at the age of 37 years, 10 months and 20 days.

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Tina Blawat and her partner, Randy Stanton of Pipestone; two sisters, Jennifer Massicotte and her husband, Robert of Lebanon, Connecticut, and Adrienne Hollis, and her children, Arianna, Zane and Araya of Pipestone; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Zachary Blawat and Emerson Hollis; and grandmother, Sonja.
