Jayne Lynnor Huibregtse

JAYNE LYNNOR HUIBREGTSE was born on January 27, 1952 to Vern and Alvera (Wittfoth) Huibregtse in Pipestone, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at St. James Lutheran Church in Holland, Minnesota. She attended elementary school in Holland through the 6th grade and graduated from Pipestone High School in 1970. After her graduation, she attended Sioux Valley School of Nursing in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where she graduated with an RN degree. Upon completion of her education, she lived in Sioux Falls and worked for Sioux Valley and then for McKennan Hospital for a number of years. Later, Jayne returned to Pipestone and worked at the Pipestone County Hospital and Ashton Care Center for the rest of her career. She remained at her home in Pipestone until September of 2015 when she suffered a stroke and entered the Good Samaritan Communities of Pipestone. On Wednesday, March 16, 2016, she passed away at the Pipestone County Medical Center at the age of 64 years, one month and 20 days.

She was a lifetime member of St. James Lutheran Church in Holland. Jayne enjoyed collecting various antiques.

Jayne is lovingly remembered by her three brothers, Jon and Steve, both of Holland, and Greg of South Sioux City, Nebraska; two nephews, Jared of New Salem, North Dakota and Jacob of Auburn, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Alvera.
