She was united in marriage to Raoul Anderson on October 4, 1941 at the Gourley home in Sherburn. Their union was blessed with two children, Curt and Susan, and fifty years of life together. The couple lived briefly in California during World War II and then returned to Minnesota, living at Ellsworth, Delevan, and Farmington. Jeanette served as a church secretary for many years, and secretary for the Soil and Conservation Service. Raoul died in 1995. Jeanette continued to reside in Farmington until May 2015 when she moved to Tyler in southwest Minnesota to be closer to her son. She made her home at Danebod Village. Following a decline in health, Jeanette died at Avera Tyler Hospital on January 18, 2018 at the age of 95.
