JENNIFER (ADOLPH) PLANK was born October 31, 1977 to James and Cindy (Seezs) Liebe in Milbank, South Dakota. She attended Lac Qui Parle High School for most of her education but graduated from Grant-Deuel High School in Revillo, South Dakota in 1996. She married Adam Adolph on August 16, 1997. She birthed three beautiful girls whom she was so very proud of and loved very much: Jessie Christine (17), Jade Marie (15), and Jara Rae (13). The couple later divorced.
Jen worked various jobs ranging from ammunitions specialist at Technical Ordnance in Clear Lake, South Dakota, to managing the American Legion in Lake Benton, Minnesota and Calumet Pub in Pipestone, Minnesota. She was an extremely hard worker and never complained. Even when her cancer worsened she took the pain and sucked it up. She had a wide variety of interests including shooting pool, darts, and fishing with Nick. She absolutely loved music and dancing. She loved computer games and watching Jeopardy and Ellen DeGeneres.
Jen met the love of her life, Nicholas Plank, in 2006. There were inseparable and loved each other with every fiber of their beings. They have two fur babies together, Spike and Charlie. They united in marriage on September 6, 2018. Jen was a fighter. She was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (stage 4 breast cancer). Doctors told her she had only 1-3 years to live. She was diagnosed with leptomeningeal carcinomatosis in July 2018. Jen passed away peacefully in her home in Ivanhoe, Minnesota on September 21, 2018. She was 40 years old.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Nick of Ivanhoe, MN; her daughters, Jessie Christine, Jade Marie, and Jara Rae; her parents, James and Cindy Liebe of Marietta, MN; her brothers, Nick Liebe (T’ana Novy) of Hayti, SD and their daughter Everly (3); Matt Liebe (Phoebe Kolbeck) of Clark, SD, and Samual Liebe of Marietta, MN; and by her dearest friends and loved ones, and she will be so missed by everyone. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Christine and Harvey Seezs, and Albert and Lucielle Liebe.
