John Friedrichs

JOHN ROBERT FRIEDRICHS was born to John and Arlene (Brue) Friedrichs on September 21, 1963, at the Tyler Hospital in Tyler, Minnesota. He spent his early years at home before moving to the Worthington New Dawn Group Home at age 32. He spent four years there, until his family relocated him to the REM Group Home in Marshall, Minnesota in 1997. He continued to reside there for the remainder of his life. For the majority of his life, John battled with depression, however, he was a fun-loving person no matter what struggles he was experiencing. Many will remember how he flashed his big smile and his love of going shopping and out to eat. John also enjoyed watching demolition derby and car races. He loved visiting with people and knew his Lord well. John was a blessing to all of us.

John passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2022 at the Meadow Lane Restorative Care Center in Benson, Minnesota.

John is remembered by his mother, Arlene of Tyler; and three brothers, Richard (Nancy), Daryl (Cheryl), Caroll (Joyce). He was preceded in death by his father, John.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hartquist Funeral Home - Tyler Chapel.  No funeral services will be held.  Burial will take placed in the Hope Cemetery in Tyler at a later date.
