Joseph Randall Burgiss

Joseph Randall Burgiss was born March 25, 1960 to William and Barbara (Farmer) Burgiss. He grew up in Cleveland, Tennessee and served in the Army National Guard. He lived in Colorado and later moved to Minnesota in 1983. He worked for Larson Manufacturing in Brookings, South Dakota. As the result of an accident on April 25, 2011, Randy died at his rural Lake Benton home at the age of 51 years and 1 month.

Randy loved to hunt and fish, and caring for his horses. His greatest love was Judi Evers, the person with whom he shared his life for the past nine years.

Joseph is remembered by his mother, Barbara (and Danny) Trentham of Cleveland, Tennessee; his father, William Burgiss of Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers and one sister; and many other relatives and friends.
