JOYCE LOUISE JULLIE was born on December 28, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At age five, she was adopted and raised by Elmer and Grace (Loomer) Meyer. During her childhood she was active in Girl Scouts and 4H. She attended First Presbyterian Church in Wilmont, Minnesota during her youth and also worked for her father’s bank, First National Bank. In 1962, she graduated from Worthington High School in Worthington, Minnesota. She then attended a junior college in Minneapolis. Joyce was united in marriage to James Edward Jullie. During her life, Joyce continued to work within the banking profession. Throughout her lifetime, she lived in the Minnesota locations of Wilmont, Minneapolis, Maple Lake, and Annandale before settling in Walker. On Tuesday, February 12, 2019, Joyce died peacefully under hospice care in her home at the age of 74 years, 1 month, and 14 days.
Joyce enjoyed visiting casinos, watching television, word search books, and traveling to California. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking and was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings.
Joyce is survived by her caregivers, the Vorel family; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 2011; and her parents, Elmer and Grace.
