Lydia Peña Liserio, 66, of Pipestone MN, died on Tuesday, October 29th due to kidney failure, with her family by her side. Visitation to the public will be held at 3pm on Saturday, November 9th at Faith Community Church, Pipestone MN, followed by a memorial service at 4pm. Officiating will be Pastor Jennings and she will later be buried in Texas with her parents.
She was born to the late Cosme and Juanita Liserio, on March 27, 1953 in Mathis, Texas where she grew up with her 7 siblings. Brothers: Rudy, Cosme and Adam, Sisters: Lucy, Gloria, Alicia and Lenore. At the age of 18 she married, Pedro Charles Flores Jr. Together they had 5 children and she was a homemaker until the early 90s, when she entered the workforce and enjoyed taking care of others until her health started to fail. She began dialysis in 2016 and fought hard for 3 years. Lydia enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, reading, attending bible studies, coloring, crossword puzzles, watching her telenovelas and especially spending time with her family.
Lydia is survived by her 5 children; Rodney (Margie) Vega and children, Leeann (Eder)Trujillo and children, Lori (Manuel) Navarro and children, Lydia (Jake) Thompson and children, Peter (Alba) Flores and children, 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
