Michael Hook

Michael James Hook was born November 26, 1950 to Ralph and Katherine (Knoben) Hook in Tracy, Minnesota. He graduated from Tracy High School in 1969. Following his education he enlisted in the National Guard. He worked various jobs in Minnesota. He moved to Lake Benton in 2000. On January 1, 2011 Michael died at his home at the age of 60 years, 1 month, and 5 days.

Michael enjoyed gardening, hunting, and especially fishing.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Troy (and Rachel) Hook of Clearwater, Kansas, and Wendy (and Andy) Veatch of Wichita, Kansas; four grandchildren; brothers, George (and MaryRose) Hook of Monticello, Minnesota, Richard (and Kinue) Hook of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Kevin Hook of Apple Valley, Minnesota; sisters Sharon Hays of Los Angeles, California, and Beth White of Los Angeles, California; special friend, Deb Hawbecker of Lake Benton, Minnesota; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Dennis Hook; and granddaughter Chaylee Michelle Hook.
