Michael Jr. Vos

MICHAEL STEAN VOS, JR. was born to Kerry (Matthews) and Michael Vos on September 26, 1990 in Roseville, California. The family then moved from California to Pipestone, Minnesota. Michael went to the McCrossan Boys Ranch during his teenage years and graduated high school from there in 2008. After his graduation Michael worked as a welder at Trail King Trailers in Mitchell, South Dakota and also welded at High Roller in South Dakota. For a time, Michael lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota before moving to Yankton, South Dakota. After a car accident on April 9, 2018, Michael was taken to the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. He passed away there on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the age of 27 years, six months, and 24 days.

As an active 27 year old, Michael loved riding bike and skateboarding. He spent his time outdoors and especially loved spending time with his friends and his family members. Michael also enjoyed listening to music.

Michael is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Kerry Vos of Pipestone; grandmothers, Angelina (Wes) Kohler of Paradise, California and Kate Matthews; Aunt, Monique Serreyn of Lennox, South Dakota; cousin, Katrina (Alex) Jorgensen of Lennox; and many other loving friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Danny 'Papa' Vos and Robert Matthews; and his great uncle, Daryl “Whiskers” Vos.
