Mildred M. Lichtsinn

MILDRED MARGARET (BRUHN) LICHTSINN was born December 10, 1931 in Lake Benton, Minnesota to William and Margaret (Von Holdt) Bruhn. She attended the Lake Benton School.

Mildred was united in marriage to Henry Lichtsinn on October 20, 1950 in Lake Benton. After her youngest child entered school, Mildred went to work at the local grocery store where she worked until her retirement. After retirement she helped with daycare to one neighbor’s infant daughter. Mildred was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lake Benton.

Mildred passed away September 30, 2021 after a brief illness at the Hendricks Nursing Home at the age of 89 years, 9 months, and 20 days. According to Mildred’s wishes, no public services will be held.

Mildred is survived by her five sons, Richard, David, Dean, Dale, Daniel, and two daughters, Lois Van Dyke and Barbara Nelsen. She has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, William and sister, Darlene.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; parents; and one sister, Leonora.
