She was baptized on December 17, 1933, at the First Presbyterian Church in Holland. Upon his discharge, Naomi and Albert returned to the family farm southwest of Tyler, Minnesota and continued to live there for 51 years. After Al's passing in 2003, Naomi resided year-round in Brownsville, Texas. She so enjoyed the weather and friends. Following the passing of her great friend, Joe Williams, in 2019, she relocated to Tyler, Minnesota.
