Patricia Ann Hellwinckel

PATRICIA HELLWINCKEL was born on May 22, 1956 to parents Walter and Edythe (Hinrichs) Monk in Brookings, South Dakota. Pat was baptized in Elkton, South Dakota where she lived with her family. They made moves to Ward, South Dakota and Woodstock, Minnesota before making their home in Pipestone in 1973. Pat was confirmed in 1970 in Pipestone and also attended school in Pipestone, graduating with the class of 1974.

On April 5, 1975, Pat was united in Marriage to Jerry Hellwinckel at the First Presbyterian Church in Pipestone, Minnesota. To this union, two daughters were born: Jessica and Shawna. They made their home in Pipestone. Pat held jobs at The Mayfair Caf , Bayliner Marine, the Pipestone County Medical Center and most recently Dari King.

Pat is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pipestone. She enjoyed being outdoors, tending to her flower gardens, yard work and landscaping. She cherished her time that she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Pat also looked forward to trips with her friends.

Pat passed away at her home on Saturday, September 28, 2013. She had lived to reach the age of 57 years.

Pat is survived by her husband, Jerry Hellwinckel of Pipestone, Minnesota; daughters: Jessica (Tom) Husman of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Shawna (Seth) Kracht of Pipestone, Minnesota; grandchildren: Jasper Husman and Shaeden Kracht; her parents Walter and Edythe Monk of Pipestone, Minnesota; siblings: Walter (Lisa) Monk of Arlington, Texas, Joan (Roxy) Potter of Valentine, Nebraska and Terry (Craig) Wiegel of Bettendorf, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; several aunts and uncles and her Mother and Father-in-law John and Elaine Hellwinckel.
