Patricia Elizabeth Schoeneman

PATRICIA ELIZABETH SCHOENEMAN was born to Alfred and Clara (Feldhaus) Breuer on June 20, 1927 in Howard, SD. In 1939 she moved with her family to Delavan, Minnesota and later to Pipestone, Minnesota. After graduating from Pipestone High School in 1945, Pat was employed as a telephone operator for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. On September 6, 1948, she was united in marriage to Erwin Schoeneman at St. Leo Catholic Church in Pipestone. Following their marriage they lived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In 1950, they returned to Pipestone County and purchased a farm in Gray Township near Hatfield, Minnesota. Pat and Erwin spent their entire married life on the farm raising hogs and crops. In June of 2011 she entered into the Good Samaritan Communities of Pipestone where she passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the age of 88 years, seven months, and three days.

Pat was baptized at St. Agatha Church in Howard, SD and was confirmed June 29, 1941 in Delavan. She was a proud member of St. Leo Catholic Church and was active in the WCCW.

Pat was a member of the Pipestone County Extension Gray III Club. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and canning. Pat loved to garden and took particular pride in her flowers and yard.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Annette (Jack) Scheffer of Harrisburg, South Dakota; and one brother, Gilbert (Barbara) Breuer of Slayton, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin; parents, Alfred and Clara; and her sister, Joan (Don) Delaney.
