PAULINA WIPF was born on November 18, 1932 to Michael and Maria (Wollman) Waldner in Elie, Manitoba, Canada. She received her education through the eighth grade. On May 6, 1951 Paulina was united in marriage to Daniel Wipf in Cartier, Manitoba. The couple made their home in Frankfort, SD until 1959, when they then moved to Ipswich, SD. In 1994, she moved to the Heartland Colony near Lake Benton, MN. Paulina died at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the age of 80 years, seven months and seven days.
Grateful for having shared her life are her children: 5 sons, Jonty (Melody) of Roscoe, SD, Steven (Anna) of Lake Benton, MN, Arnie of Ipswich, SD, Mike (Alma) of Lake Benton, MN, Bob (Amber) of Lake Benton, MN; 8 daughters, Lina (Benny) Wollman of Wetonka, SD, MaryAnn Wipf of Lake Benton, MN, Judy (Jonty) Wipf of Edgeley, ND, Christy (Kenny) Waldner of Raymond, SD, Debbie Hofer of Roscoe, SD, Justine (Tom) Waldner of Henderson, MN, Doris (Jonathan) Wipf of White, SD, Lillian (Justin) Tschetter of Estelline, SD; 39 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; ten sisters; one step sister; one half-sister; four brothers; one half-brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; two sons, Daniel and Simon; one infant grandson, Daniel John Wipf; parents, Michael and Maria Waldner; one brother, Paul Waldner; step mother, Rebecca Waldner; and one son-in-law, Danny Hofer.
