Peggy Ralene O'Neill was born on December 14, 1951 to Francis Joseph and Dorothy Sophia O’Neill in Pipestone, Minnesota. Growing up she had a love for horseback riding and was Minnesota Quarter Horse Queen in 1970. She attended Pipestone High School and graduated in the class of 1970. She was so intelligent the school suggested skipping a grade but she insisted on remaining with her friends. On May 12, 1972, Peggy was united in marriage to Dennis Boyd Erickson in Codington, South Dakota and later divorced. She was an owner of the European Health Spa, owner of The Gym and was a spirit, energy and orb consultant and also worked at Wilson’s Leather Clothing Store. Peggy was also the author of “What Do I Have To Do…Paint You A Picture?” in 2009 and is the founder of Heavens Hello…In the Beginning…Visual Spiritual Connections. She was also working on her second book in the Divinity Series. Peggy always had at least two dogs and cherished them. She also had a love for cats and would often take in strays because she had a big heart. Peggy passed away at her home on February 27, 2023.
Peggy had a love for horses. She was a great singer, talented painter, very spiritual, loved taking photos and finding orbs in the photo. She believed in the power of prayer and healing energy. Peggy took pride in comforting those who have lost a person or pet. She also had a love for art and music. Peggy was a fun-loving person who loved laughing and spending time with friends and family.
Peggy is survived by her grandchildren, Macy, Ty and Bray; her cousin, Jeff (Deb) Brockberg of Pipestone, Minnesota; and nieces and nephews, Tiffani Hale Marshall, Toni Zinda, Rebecca Dickerson, Dawn Paulsen and Craig Paulsen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Aaron Francis Erickson; her sisters, Leah and Leilani; her nephew, Michael Zinda; and her boyfriend, Darrell Prunty.
