Randy J. Krell

RANDALL JOSEPH KRELL was born August 12, 1953 in Pipestone, Minnesota. He was the 6th child of William, Jr. and Evelyn (Voss) Krell. His family lived in Woodstock, Minnesota until the death of his father in 1957. They relocated to Ihlen, Minnesota in the fall of 1958 when his mother married Russ Harmsen. Randy attended school in Pipestone, graduating in 1971. Randy married Candis Lane in 1974 and the union was blessed with one son, Jesse. He spent most of his post-scholastic life as a contractor working on projects all around the country. In his own words, he was a “jack of all trades but master of none.” He was always busy with one project or another and was quick to drop what he was doing to lend a hand to anyone that needed. When not working, you could usually find him riding his motorcycle or playing his guitar. Randy passed away at his home in Billings, Montana on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the age of 62.

He is survived by his son, Jesse (Rachelle) Krell; his mother, Evelyn (Russ) Harmsen; siblings, Beverly York, Joyce (Carl) Pierret, Gene (Dolly) Krell, Vicki (Brad) Quist, Deanna Scott, Mike (Karen) Harmsen, Kim (Tom) Frazier, and Terry Harmsen; and countless uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Krell Jr.; grandparents, William and Grace Krell, and Joe and Josie Voss.
