Ricky Dale Fiedler

Ricky Dale Fiedler was born on April 12, 1953 to Henry and Anna (Jorgensen) Fiedler in Pipestone County, Minnesota where he was raised. He attended school in Pipestone and during his high school years, he worked at Ripco Gas Station. After his graduation from Pipestone High School in 1972, he was employed at Luverne Truck of Brandon as a welding supervisor. On August 26, 1978, he was united in marriage to Linda Lupkes in Pipestone. Following their marriage, they resided in Pipestone. Throughout the years, he worked at General Machine, Wilson Manufacturing, and Winter Concrete, all in Pipestone. For five years, he was employed at Pipestone Area Schools as a custodian until he retired at the age 65. On Saturday, September 14, 2024, he died at his home in Pipestone at the age of 71. 

Ricky attended First Presbyterian Church in Pipestone. He enjoyed participating in demo derbys, golf, bowling, hunting and baseball. For 43 years, he also enjoyed camping, fishing and boating at Lake Shaokatan.

He is remembered by his wife, Linda Fiedler of Pipestone, Minnesota; step-daughter, Dawn Murphy of Alexandria, Minnesota and son, Matt Fiedler of Pipestone; three grandchildren, Taylor Bones, Rachel Bones and Rylan Zinnel; two great-grandchildren, Atlas Palm and Ryder Palm; one brother, Mike Fiedler, Sr. and his wife Violet of Pipestone; and one nephew, Mike Fiedler, Jr. "JR". He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Fiedler; and one step-daughter, Bonnie Lupkes.
