Theresa Bingham

THERESA ROSE (COOLEY) BINGHAM was born on June 16, 1961 to Alpha and Anna Cooley in Queens, New York. She lived there until she was 11 when she moved to Raytown, Missouri and graduated from Raytown High School in 1979. After her schooling, she moved to Denver, Colorado and managed a restaurant there. In 1984, Theresa moved to San Diego, California where she met Scott Bingham in 1987. The two were united in marriage on January 25, 1991 in Kansas City, Missouri where they had decided to move to be nearer to Theresa's family and so that Scott could be nearer her family and enjoy family life. The family moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1994 and finally to Pipestone, Minnesota in 2000. Early on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, Theresa passed away at her home in Pipestone at the age of 53 years, 11 months, and 23 days.

Theresa was a very strong Christian woman. She enjoyed leading Bible studies on a person to person basis. She was a helpful person. Theresa helped people get what they needed whether it be clothing or other home items. She even housed people who needed a place to stay. She really loved going fishing, it was her passion; she was in her own world out on the boat. Theresa also enjoyed sightseeing and traveling, just for the sake of traveling. She loved her family, especially her granddaughter, Annabelle.

Theresa is lovingly remembered by her husband, Scott of Pipestone; daughter, Nicole (fianc Jodie Riggins) Cooley of Pipestone; granddaughter, Annabelle Riggins; brother, Phil Cooley of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, MaryAnne Runcik of Yankton, South Dakota, close personal friends, Jason and Anita Lichtsinn of Pipestone; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Nick.
