Timothy “Timmy” Edward Schreier was born February 4, 1989 to Donald and Lisa (Blom) Schreier in Marshall, Minnesota. He was baptized on February 19, 1989 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cottonwood, Minnesota. He grew up on the family farm and attended Russell-Tyler-Ruthton schools, graduating from RTR High School in 2007. Following his education he moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming and worked in manufacturing for the railroad. Tim was united in marriage on August 25, 2012 to Brittni Belden at the Tyler Golf Course. Their union was blessed with a daughter, Mia Faith. He moved to Ortonville, Minnesota in 2012 where he worked for Valley Queen Cheese Factory in Milbank, South Dakota. He recently had moved to Redfield, South Dakota and was employed as a plant operator at Redfield Energy, an ethanol plant. Tim died on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 as the result of a vehicular accident near Redfield, three weeks before his 27th birthday.
Tim loved music and singing. He enjoyed darts, baseball, and playing basketball and football. Family and friends were especially important for him. He considered his daughter, Mia, one of his great blessings and always said, “You’re daddy’s baby girl.”
Tim is lovingly remembered by his children, Mia and Owyn; his fianc, Stephanie Burger of Redfield, SD; his parents, Don and Lisa Schreier of Russell, MN; a brother, Brad Schreier and his wife Cassie and their children, Andrew and Laura, of Clarkfield, MN; his grandmothers, Lita Schreier of Currie, Minnesota and Carol Conrad of Brainerd, Minnesota; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eric Schreier; and his grandfathers, Gerald Schreier and Martin Blom.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are going to be designated to a fund for the continued support of Tim’s children.
