ANTHONY "TONY" LYNN MILLER was born on January 5, 1954 to Lawrence and Evelyn (Younkin) Miller in Luverne, Minnesota. Along with his siblings, Tony attended Luverne Public Schools, graduating in 1972. Tony was united in marriage to Sharon Remme on October 15, 1977 in Luverne. Following their marriage, Tony worked at several places, including Hanson Silo, IBP, and Golden Plump. The couple was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Amanda and Amber. Amanda died unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in a car accident in 2012. The family was crushed at her loss, but continued to push forward in life. Tony retired in 2017 and then began working for Papik Motors to keep himself busy. Tony died peacefully at his home on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 66 years, eight months, and 20 days.
Tony was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and was active in their chapter of the Knights of Columbus. Tony was a big fan of watching sports, but his favorite were always the ones that his granddaughters were playing. He enjoyed trap shooting and absolutely loved hunting.
Tony is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon of Luverne; his daughter, Amber (Chris) Nath of Luverne; two granddaughters, Courtney and Gracie Nath; one brother, Bill (Judy) Miller of Luverne; his sister, Sandy Murphy of Luverne; many nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Vis; his parents, Lawrence and Evelyn; an infant brother; a sister, Betty Boulware; and a brother-in-law, Val Boulware.
