was born to Valetine and Minnie (Biggens) Parras on May 9, 1920 in Pipestone, Minnesota where she was raised and attended school. Upon completion of her education, she helped at home and did housecleaning for several families. She also cleaned for a local restaurant. She lived in her own home until 2001 when she moved into her daughter’s home. On July 19, 2002, she became a resident at Good Samaritan Communities in Pipestone. She died there on Friday, April 8, 2011 at the age of 90 years, 11 months and 29 days.
Virginia had attended First Baptist Church in her younger years. She enjoyed reading, gardening and watching television. She had a lifelong love of cats and dogs.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Barbara Parras of Pipestone, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Max; one sister, Margaret Miller; three half-sisters; and one half-brother.
